Membership In the Council

To become a member, merely mail a check or money order to the Council on African World Affairs, and indicate your name and address and occupation, if you would like.

Membership is open to all persons with an interest in African World Affairs. Dues are kept nominal to encourage participation. All programs and the receptions that precede them are free to members. Your membership will run for a full year from the date your due is received.

As a matter of course, contributing membership are appreciated and are very important to the financial well-being of the Council. The Council would often thank regular contributors through programs that are offered gratis.

The Due Schedule for Individuals

• Individual ($30)
• Notification of and invitation to each program; all programs free of charge; catered receptions preceding addresses.
• Students ($20)
• Individual privileges, free attendance to all invitation events, addresses and dinners.
• Couples ($55)
• Individual privileges for couples.
